How We Pick Deals
Every product on this site had to pass the same checklist before it was added to one of our Amazon lists. Here it is.
1. The rating has to be earned
At least 4.3 stars, and from hundreds (usually thousands) of reviews – not a 5-star average from twelve reviews. We also skip products whose reviews look manipulated or whose rating has recently fallen.
2. The discount has to be real
We compare the current price with Amazon's list price, with the product's recent price history and with other retailers. An inflated "was" price does not count. Lightning Deals, Deals of the Day, clearance markdowns, Prime-exclusive prices and clip coupons do.
3. Prime delivery and a trusted seller
Items must be Prime-eligible and sold by Amazon or by a seller with a strong feedback record. Marketplace listings with no history are out.
4. Refreshed every day
Each morning (US Eastern time) a check runs on every list: expired deals are removed, new ones added, and this site is rebuilt from the live lists. The "Updated" date on each page tells you when that last happened.
What we never list
Supplements and medications, weapons, adult products, counterfeit-looking brands, and anything we would not buy for our own family.
